This is an ancient Convent, carefully brought back to its original beauty preserving all the original structures. The property is located in a natural background extraordinary harmonious and untouched, pervaded by the charming tone given both from the ancient convent- walls and the Umbrian mysticism. The building, whose original unit dates back to the eleventh century was a fortress and during the time it has undergone many transformations.

The Country Resort is divided into sixteen independent apartments of different sizes, all finely furnished, and it is surrounded by a wide green park called "Parco dei Cistercensi" which covers about 20.000sqm. Here our guests can stay in peace and relaxation, playing also some sport. At their disposal there is a private car park, large sun-bathing terraces, a swimming pool equipped with bathrooms and changing rooms, an hydro-massage-pool area, a gym. The property comes on four levels and comprises some common areas besides the reception, the wine-bar and the restaurant such as a meeting and convention hall, a comfortable reading room with armchairs, a billiards and a fireplace. These rooms are suitable to hold meetings and conventions covering an area of 230/240sqm.

To serve the Vacationer’s needs there is the “pharmacy” of traditional Cistercian remedies, an orchard with the local varieties. Badia is wonderfully located to reach tourist destinations such as Rome and relaxing, historical and art places too.

Rome is within 45 minutes drive. Badia is a few kilometres distant from Amelia, a medieval village famous for its polygonal walls and important historical remains conserved in the archaeological museum.
