What has remained today is the medieval village and up until a few years ago were the ruins of an ancient structure annexed to the castle.

Today this old complex has been restored and brought back to life, respecting its original characteristics and using traditional materials but yet offering all of the modern comforts that one may desire.

Farm Holiday is located in an extremely panoramic area bordering Chianti and is at the centre of an artistic triangle which includes the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo.

Vacationing at this agritourism is ideal for those who are interested in complete relaxation in touch with nature and also having the possibility to easily reaching the most important artistic and historical sites of Tuscany and Umbria. Among them are to be mentioned the small romanic ancient churches of Valdarno, the most important of which is just S. Romolo at Gaville, the medieval towns of S. Gimignano, Cortona, Volterra and the park of the casentinese forests with the hermitages of Verna and Camaldoli, which were quite dear to S. Francesco; last but not least there is also Chianti with its splendid farm houses, medieval villages and ancient castles.

Farm Holiday is only 7km from Figline Valdarno, among its beautiful town square in the historical center you can find various shops, boutiques, pharmacies, pubs, restaurants and banks and the beauty of the medieval walls running along the town.

In Figline there is also a train station with trains leaving for Florence's central station every half hour arriving in less than twenty minutes.

The A1 highway is just 4 km away.

Structure Each apartment has satellite TV (except n 7) and dishwasher. All apartments are perfectly furnished and equipped in order to assure a most comfortable staying (coffee machine both Italian and American type - hair dryer - goblet for wine tasting, toaster etc.) Bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and shower and tiled with Vietri hand-painted tiles. Also provided with blow dryers. All kitchens have marble-based counter tops, stainless steel sink (except in apt. 8 where there are two sinks) dishwashers, fridge, stove with four burners, electrical oven, exhaust fan. Also furnished with dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery and necessary kitchen utensils. The master bedrooms are furnished with beds (mattress size 170x195). The other bedrooms have beds (mattress size 85x195, with the possibility of joining them together). Each bedroom has at least one wardroom or chest of drawers. Also provided with linen and towels. Living rooms with sofa beds (mattress size 170x195), armchairs, and tv with access to satellite.
