Trecasali is a small municipality with very old origins, being already documented in the XIth century. The municipal territory is marked to the west by the river Taro which separates it from the Municipalities of San Secondo Parmense and Fontanellato; to the north, it borders with the Municipality of Sissa; to the east it borders with the Municipality of Torrile, while to the South, it borders with the Municipality of Parma. As well as the main town, there are 3 country wards: San Quirico, Ronco Campo Canneto and Viarolo. |
