In the heart of the countryside, on top of the hill where the village of Scrofiano is clung at 485 m. a.s.l., family Anichini has been since 10 years the owner of Villa and the relative 18 ha of lands which stretch from here down to the valley.

The house has an extension of 360 sq.m., distributed on two levels. Outside, embedded into a natural terrace looking over Valdichiana, lies the swimming pool (7 x 14 x 1,5 m.). It is equipped with beach-umbrellas, deck-chairs, a gazebo right next to the swimming pool where to have breakfasts and dinners, and a large garden with cedars of Lebanon spread all around. Close to the villa lie vineyards and lands belonging to the country-farm "La Corbellina", owned by the family itself, which produces its own oil and wine, the two typical products that were made so famous in these territory.

The family is glad to receive up to a maximum of 8 persons, in the whole house or in just one part of it according to need (ground floor: 2 persons, first floor:8 persons). Absolutely welcomed will be those people who search for quiet and peace, fully dipped in the relaxing silence of the countryside around Siena, but at the same time willing to visit the most beautiful towns of central Italy without driving too much ( Siena 45 km, Florence 85 km, Arezzo 37 km, Perugia 60 km, Rome 160 km). Not only the cities, but many small medieval villages and monasteries are well worth a visit, which the family will be happy to advice. (Pienza, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Castiglion del Lago, Passignano, Montepulciano, Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Trequanda, Castelnuzio, Monitis, Petroio, S.Giovanni di Asso). Only a little bit more than 100 km from Florence city centre, 150 km from imperial Rome, and just an hour drive from Perugia and even less from Arezzo.
