Established in 1934, the Parco del Circeo was oriented to protect not just a single species, but a large set of distinctive biomes (groups of coexisting plants and animals determined and influenced by environmental factors) with the result of an abundance of species which have been currently defined as biodiversity. It is the ideal place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, playing sports, having fun taking part to the various cultural events all the year round.

Embedded in the lush green surroundings, in the Parco of San Felice Circeo, with a big garden of 1hectare overlooking the shore of the Paola lake, only 5 minutes away from the sea and about 60 km distant from Rome the villa is completely independent, really hospitable and can be rented for a week or longer.

Guests will be tempted by the large garden surrounding the house which favours pleasant moments of relaxation, offers an agreeable cool spot even in the hottest summer and can turn into a perfect playing ground for the children. It is ideally positioned for visiting the beauties of the past in the eternal city and the natural attractions of Parco Nazionale del Circeo, as well as the many surrounding medieval villages.

Furthermore at just 5 minutes drive away or at 20minutes walk through the wood one of the most beautiful Italian beaches , that of Sabaudia, can be appreciated. More than 30km long it boasts splendid dunes covered with the Mediterranean scrub and crystal-clear water. Those who want to enjoy the spectacular sights of the Pontine Islands situated just in front of Sabaudia have nothing get to do but board a ship at the neighbouring port of San Felice Circeo or at those of Anzio and Formia, a little bit further if one wishes to bring one’s own car.

In Sabaudia, in front of the Saporetti factory at the foot of Mount Circeo sports such as windsurfing and hobbycat can be done. Moreover in the period between May and September qualified instructors are available. They are at disposal for water skiing on the Paola lake in front of the villa and also for sailing. Courses and lessons can be arranged at the sailing club of Sabaudia, on the shore of the lake with the same name.

Depending on weather conditions it is possible to surf in front of the church of Santa Maria Goretti in Nettuno or at the bathing establishment “I Marinaretti” in Anzio. In Anzio it will be also possible to enrol for a course applying to one of the clubs in Riviera Zanardelli, (LNI Anzio; Circolo Tevere Remo or Circolo Vela Roma). Bear in mind that the gulf between Anzio and Nettuno is suitable for learning how to sail.

From Nettuno and the tourist port of the Circeo it is possible to board a cabin cruiser to stay a weekend or longer on the Pontine Islands.
