Those travelling by car along the main Reggio Calabria - Salerno motorway should exit at Salerno and follow the indications for the Amalfi coast.

By train

Most trains from all the major Italian cities stop at Naples (Napoli centrale and Piazza Garibaldi) or Salerno where passengers should take the local regional train to Sorrento (along the Circumvesuviana network).

By Bus

A Bus service for the Amalfi coast runs with regular departures from the bus terminal just outside Naples central station (SITA bus company).

By Airplane

Naples Capodichino airport is the closest international airport.

By ferry boat

During the summer season there are daily departures from Salerno and Naples for Positano and Amalfi.

By Taxi

Taxis and private cars are available from all hotels, airports, bus and train stations.

By Helicopter or Private boat
